Growth has been a constant at Carousel Industries of North America Inc. since it was founded in 1992 to integrate and manage technology solutions that solve business problems.
The Exeter-based company has grown an average of 30 percent to 50 percent each year, achieving revenue of $355 million in 2012.
Carousel employs more than 1,000 people in 30 locations across the United States, including more than 250 service technicians deployed across the country.
The company has more than 6,000 customers, including 35 Fortune 100 companies. Carousel holds top partner status and certification with leading technology companies, including Avaya, Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks and Microsoft.
In July, Carousel became a Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller. The AER program is designed to train participating resellers in Microsoft’s academic licensing, that is, products used in school environments. The program authorizes resellers to purchase and sell Microsoft academic licenses and demonstrate to potential customers that they are approved and knowledgeable academic partners.
These certifications are given only to companies that have met rigorous requirements for converged voice and data, technical expertise and customer satisfaction. It is on this foundation of expertise and customer satisfaction that Carousel has grown its business every year.
“We plan to accelerate our academic customers’ successes by serving as technology advisers that can design, deploy and integrate solutions to meet their IT requirements.” said Ed Wadbrook, vice president of applications and collaboration. •
