Use:

The J.G. Eddy & Co. building was erected in 1875 to house the J.G. Eddy & Co. wholesale grocery firm. Situated in the Custom House Historic District of Providence, the five-story brick building was rehabilitated for office use in 1925 by Bodell & Co. and again in 1982 by Drexel Burnham Lambert. In November 2014, HM Ventures Group 7 purchased the property for $800,000 from Omni Property Group. Now referred to as 32 Custom House, ASH NYC has re-imagined the 16,531-square-foot High Victorian Gothic property as a residential and retail space. The restored, early-20th-century Georgian Revival glass storefront welcomes passersby into a first-floor retail space, now occupied by KNEAD Doughnuts in partnership with The Dean Hotel’s Bolt Coffee Co. Upstairs, office space has been converted into 10 apartments. One- and two-bedroom units are accessed through a private lobby, which boasts the building’s original grand staircase and elevator shaft. Other historic elements include an additional brass-detailed staircase at the back of the building and a wood-paneled meeting room with covered ceilings and built-in shelving.
