PROVIDENCE – The former Irons & Russell building in the Jewelry District, converted into 57 loft-style apartments, is being leased for occupancy in early April.
A new website for the apartment building, re-branded as the 95 Lofts, states that the mix of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units will be available as of April 1. The rental rates range from $1,495 to $1,525 for a studio, $1,495 to $1,875 for a one-bedroom, and $1,600 to $2,550 for a two-bedroom, according to an online apartment listing.
The features of the new apartments include smartphone security access to the building, complementary wireless, a concierge service and Zipcars on-site. Limited parking is available to tenants for an additional fee.
The apartments are being marketed to working professionals and graduate students, according to a statement on the development company’s website.
The building renovation received incentives for historical redevelopment, including $2.04 million in state Historical Preservation Tax Credits.
The six-story brick-and-beam building, constructed in 1904, is a former jewelry manufacturing building.
