Leah C. Rosin-Pritchard has worked in various kitchens since the age of 19. But after a decade of learning different aspects of the trade from others, she decided to launch her own healthy baked-goods line called Leah’s Recipe LLC.

“I was really desiring to see a shift in the sort of dietary choices available; on my own and in the general public,” Rosin-Pritchard said.

She currently offers three products, each in two variations. The products use only organic, fair-trade and locally sourced ingredients with no refined sugars.

Despite having only started last June, Leah’s Recipe has realized a 45 percent growth in sales each month, thanks largely to her wholesale accounts.

The products are currently sold in 12 locations throughout the state. Rosin-Pritchard currently runs the business out of the Hope & Main food-business incubator in Warren.

“Right now, I’m selling in most places that I go to myself and like what they’re doing, but there’s seemingly no limits,” Rosin-Pritchard said. •
