What are your five rules of business?

1) Shareholder equity is critical to the sustainability of businesses so they can invest in their employees, technology, growth and the community. 2) In business, it is obvious why cash flow is important. In our personal lives, we all need to manage our money so we can accomplish great things. 3) Focus on what is realistic and achievable. 4) Teamwork: At work or at home, you can achieve greater things as a team. 5) Having fun is critical to success! I love what I do.

Why is there a heightened need for multilingual engineering professionals at global companies?

There is a heightened need for multilingual professionals in all disciplines right now because businesses value the power of global markets. Rapid growth in technology and free borders have enabled countries to interact with and depend on others, raising the global economy. I serve on the global management team of Hexagon Metrology that is made up of 12 members from eight different countries. We do not operate independently in individual regions. We collaborate as a global team with shared goals and resources. •
