PROVIDENCE – Spectra Systems, a leading provider of machine-readable banknote authentication technology, has signed a two-year contract extension with Intralot Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, Spectra will continue to offer Internal Control System services for
the Idaho Lottery through 2014.
“Spectra has worked in close partnership with INTRALOT for the benefit of Lotteries in many of our
current jurisdictions throughout the world,” Spectra Systems President and CEO Nabil Lawandy said in
prepared remarks. “Over that time, we have assisted many lotteries in maintaining integrity and trust in
their games and look forward to our continued collaboration in the years to come.”
Under the terms of the extension, Spectra will provide the Idaho Lottery with internal control system
services as a secure, high-speed data platform, something the company says “plays a critical
independent security role in auditing their gaming systems.”
Spectra is headquartered in Providence but has manufacturing and engineering facilities in East
Providence and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
