ASH NYC to rehabilitate buildings on Weybosset, Mathewson streets

PROVIDENCE – ASH NYC, which recently completed the rehabilitation of 32 Custom St. in the financial district, has also acquired two early 1900s buildings with frontage on Weybosset and Mathewson streets.
The structure at 225 Weybosset St. and an adjoining building fronting Mathewson are now unoccupied. The city has agreed to allow HM Ventures Group 7 LLC to replace existing storefronts. A renovation with apartments on the second floors and retail at street level is planned, according to the Providence Planning Department.
HM Ventures purchased 225 Weybosset on March 1 for $874,700, according to city records.
