CRANSTON – Alert Solutions, a provider of school communication technology, has been awarded a three-year contract for automated notification systems for schools across Michigan through the Regional Educational Media Center Association of Michigan.
“With such a large customer base in Michigan, we were thrilled to be awarded this contract with $AVE Bid Project,” David Baeder, CEO of Alert Solutions, said in a statement. “Customer satisfaction is crucial to our success, so seeing the award rationale was ‘customer choice’ reaffirmed the improvements we continue to make are being positively received by our clients.”
The REMC Statewide $AVE Bid Project, a cooperative purchasing program for Michigan schools and other eligible agencies, selects vendors based on product knowledge, support, price and customer satisfaction.
A spokeswoman for Alert Solutions said that the contract means that Alert Solutions is the preferred vendor for automated notification systems for all Michigan K-12 schools. The company supports more than 140,000 students and 119 schools throughout Michigan, she said.
The contract was not for a specific amount as the company was awarded the preferred vendor spot, Nina Caliri, director of marketing and sales operations, said.
Alert Solutions provides messaging solutions that meet the specific needs of districts and schools with fully hosted, unlimited emergency and standard messaging via telephone, email, social media and SMS text messaging.
Alert Solutions serves more than 1,000 school districts and 2 million students worldwide.
