Live at Birdland featuring the Birdland Big Band is set to take the stage Sunday at Park Theatre in Cranston. The modern jazz orchestra hails from New York City and is conducted by Tommy Igoe. The musicians behind the big-band sounds perform for Broadway shows and touring companies. During the performance, Park Theatre will feature a set designed to resemble the ambiance and experience of a night at Birdland, an established jazz club in New York.
