NORTH KINGSTOWN – Amazing Charts LLC has been named a Top Ten Ambulatory Electronic Medical Record developer in the recently published 2013 “Best in Klas Awards” software and services report, the company announced last week.
The report, assembled annually by Klas Research, ranks the best-performing health care IT vendors in more than 100 market segments, including acute-care EMR, ambulatory EMR, emergency department information systems, financial and enterprise resource planning, clinical implementation, IT outsourcing and more.
This year marks the fourth consecutive year that Amazing Charts has appeared in the Best in Klas Awards.
“It is gratifying to be repeatedly recognized for excellence by Klas Research, one of the most respected names in the rating of health IT companies,” said John Squire, president and chief operating officer of Amazing Charts. “By focusing on usability and affordability, Amazing Charts has been able to deliver solutions that practices rate highly for satisfaction. We continue to build on those strengths with the introduction of new products that will enable clinicians to deliver quality care in less time and for higher compensation.”
In addition to its recognition in the Best in Klas Awards, Amazing Charts also received the highest degree of “Klas Konfidence” – three checkmarks – as defined by several different organizations that evaluated the company’s emergency health record systems and services. To receive the highest Konfidence level, at least 30 organizations must actively use the company’s product, and at least 15 organizations must utilize the company’s professional services.
Founded in 2001, Amazing Charts is headquartered in North Kingstown, and its emergency medical record system has been adopted by more than 9,100 clinicians in nearly 6,200 private practices. Amazing Charts operates as a subsidiary of Pri?Med, an operating division of Diversified Business Communications.
