How do you encourage employee feedback?
Amica conducts employee-engagement surveys biannually with pulse surveys in intervening years. The feedback from employees is reviewed for trends and identification of actionable items. We have a culture where managers are engaged with the staff.
What’s the best way you call out special efforts by employees?
The Amica News, our monthly publication, features articles … which all highlight special efforts of our employees. Amica also has a Community Involvement Program that recognizes volunteer efforts.
What is the most important benefit the company provides?
Total Rewards Program, which includes My Health: medical and prescription drug coverage; My Money: competitive salary with a success-sharing plan; and My Life: policies providing work-life balance.
