Amica ‘Superior’ rating reaffirmed

LINCOLN – A New Jersey-based insurance rating company has reaffirmed Amica Life Insurance “Superior” rating.
A.M. Best Co., based in Oldwick, N.J., again gave Amica an A++ rating, which is the highest category of Superior. A.M. Best is a nationally recognized rating agency that focuses on the insurance industry.
“This rating demonstrates the hard work of our employees and management group to assist our policyholders,” said Robert A. DiMuccio, chairman, president and CEO of Amica, in a statement. “Our customers are our top priority and will continue serving them to the best of our abilities.”
Amica Mutual Insurance Co., parent company of Amica Life Insurance, is based in Lincoln and was founded in 1907. It is a national writer of auto, home, marine and umbrella insurance. It employs more than 3,300 people in 44 offices throughout the country.
