SENIOR ASSOCIATE –

Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP

AGE: 33

Why did you select your profession?

The legal profession has always appealed to me because I enjoy being presented with problems and having the opportunity to analyze and help solve them.

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?

I hope to remain part of the Edwards Wildman team in Providence in 10 years, and to have found opportunities to advocate for the state of Rhode Island.

What’s the best career advice you’ve received?

You can’t take the elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Make the most of your free time, and travel and experience as much as possible. The time won’t always be there.

What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?

Spending a day on the beach in South County with my wife, Abby, and friends or enjoying a round of semi-competitive, low-stakes golf.

How do you keep a work-life balance?

By trying to slow things down during any free time that I find, and spending that time with my wife and our dog, Otto.
