In its U.S. debut, Howard Brenton’s “Anne Boleyn” tells the story of the doomed queen as a religious reformer. In a production that follows the royal story to the birth of the King James Bible, Gamm newcomer Madeleine Lambert will star as Boleyn, a woman with passionate beliefs who is navigating her marriage to King Henry VIII. The play was described by London’s Daily Telegraph as portraying “the Tudor pack at their most snarling, scheming, ribald, pleasure-seeking and gaily entertaining.” Performances will continue through Feb. 17.
