HERKIMER, N.Y. – Annese & Associates became the first Cisco partner in the Northeast to develop a managed wireless offering with AnyAccess.
The company, which has eight offices located in New York and a satellite office in Rhode Island covering the New England area, announced the launch of its AnyAccess program on Monday, May 21.
AnyAccess provides access to secure and reliable wireless connections for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Annese development AnyAccess around Cisco’s borderless networking architecture and became the first Cisco partner in the Northeast to lay claim to a multi-tenant cloud-based wireless management service.
“The proliferation of user-owned devices into corporate has begun in earnest,” said Jamie Aiello, Director of Operations and Business Development at Annese, adding that as the number of tablets and smart phones surfacing in work environments increase, so does the demand for secure network access and controlled support demanded of IT departments.
“It is a tremendous value to Cisco to have Annese fill this void through tapping into their considerable mobility expertise and launching this crucial new service,” said Mike Glew, Business Development Manager at Cisco. “We are excited about Annese’s unique wireless managed service offer and we will be working closely with Annese to ensure it is successful.”
According to an Annese release, AnyAccess allows companies to easily deploy and manage secure wireless networks, even across multiple sites.
