Why did you select your profession?

Senior year of college my dean suggested an internship at a growing public relations firm. … I remember him saying to me, “Try PR, I think you will love it.” I had no idea at the time what a PR firm even did. It turned out to be the best experience. I learned a lot from the two founding partners, and they let me do so much. It was that year that I knew I wanted to be part of a firm that I could grow myself.

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?

Producing a reality TV show.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?

Have confidence and common sense.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Be patient, listen a little bit better and think before you speak. Also, don’t be so serious.

What is your favorite escape or hobby?

The beach, the beach and the beach.

How do you keep a work-life balance?

My husband. He is a busy attorney, but really has always supported me and my career. We really are a 50/50 family. •
