Annual Providence Symposium and Fall Fundraiser slated

PROVIDENCE – The Industrial Trust Building will play host to this year’s Providence Preservation Society’s annual Providence Symposium and Fall Fundraiser from Thursday, Nov. 3, to Saturday, Nov. 5.

The venue, which is a twice-listed Most Endangered Property at 111 Westminster St., will be the setting for the keynote address by Curtis G. Viebranz, CEO and president of Mt. Vernon, on Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The next day, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., symposiums on preservation will be held there as well.

On Saturday, Nov. 5, the society will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a 5 p.m. dinner at the Skyline at Waterplace, 1 Finance Way in Providence.
