Are you going to take part in the "Tax Day Tea Party" next week?

The public’s reaction to the taxpayer-financed bailouts of American financial services companies and automakers is expected to reach a fever pitch next week, when on April 15, people all over the country will rally to reduce government spending and taxes.

The Providence edition of the rally – expected to take place in as many as 2,000 cities across the country – is expected to happen in front of the Statehouse.

The big question is, will you be there, too?

This is confusing. Is the protest about the bailouts or all government spending. Which taxes are being protested? Saturday, April 11, 2009|Report this
