PROVIDENCE – Fifteen regional hotels and restaurants are 2015 recipients of AAA’s five and four diamond awards, signifying excellence in the hospitality industry.
According to AAA Northeast, each year the agency’s inspectors visit more than 58,000 establishments across the country, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, using its diamond rating system.
“Just 0.3 percent of the 58,000 properties inspected by AAA receive five diamonds, and just 3.9 percent receive four diamonds,” David J. Raposa, managing director of public affairs for AAA Northeast, said in statement. “They truly are the best of the best and we are fortunate to have so many right here in our own back yard.”
