LITTLE COMPTON – A former storage barn built by the U.S. Army during World War II, later renovated and converted into a four-bedroom, shingle-style house with water views, sold in September for $1.8 million, according to Residential Properties Ltd, which held the listing.
The home, referred to as “Bellweather,” has water views from nearly every room, according to Residential Properties. It is located at 2F Warrens Point Road and was built in 1976, according to an online property record.
The previous owner was identified in the Vision Government Solutions record as Ann Chase Hendrie, trustee of a living trust agreement.
Rebecca Rubin of Residential Properties’ Providence office was the listing agent.
The buyer, whose name was not disclosed, was represented by Lila Delman Real Estate International.
