Astro-Med launches high-speed data acquisition system

WEST WARWICK – Astro-Med Inc. recently launched of Daxus, a portable, high-speed data acquisition system created for mobile users.
Daxus offers a “unique combination of size, portability, connectivity and power, providing data acquisition when and where you need it,” according to the technology company.
Astro-Med said Daxus allows high-speed data acquisition and logging to take place in one environment, such as on the factory floor, while data can be simultaneously read and analyzed in a separate location.
Data can be accessed wirelessly and viewed in real-time on a computer or through the Daxus mobile app for smartphone/tablet.
“Astro-Med has set a new level of flexibility and performance for data acquisition recording and analysis with Daxus,” Jon Lee, national sales manager, said in a statement. “Our innovative Daxus system offers high-speed acquisition, wireless connectivity and smartphone/tablet accessibility – all in a package that is not only portable, but powerful as well.”
Daxus, according to Astro-Med, acquires, processes and stores all data locally with no need for a PC connection.
