Atrion hosting fall AlwaysOn Technology Symposium

WARWICK – Atrion is holding a technology symposium in the fall designed for chief information officers, chief technology officers, information technology directors and department leaders.
The AlwaysOn Technology Symposium will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Nov. 18.
The information technology company said it decided to create a technology-based version of the AlwaysOn Symposium that it holds annually for personal and professional development, drawing on its success. More than 700 business leaders, the most in the event’s history, attended that symposium in the spring, according to Atrion.
“The AlwaysOn Technology Symposium is a one-day event centered on equipping IT leaders with the vision, insights, perspectives and strategies to help emerge as strategic business assets for the organization,” Chris Poe, Atrion’s chief innovation officer, said in a statement. “It’s been my assertion for some time now that one thing IT is well positioned to do, but often doesn’t do enough of, is better educate and teach the business about existing and imminent trends so the business can hear about them from IT first, as opposed to getting the information from a third-party cloud provider, for instance.”
“The goal of the event is to empower attendees to create stories that they can bring back to the business to inspire the organization to explore untapped possibilities,” he added. “It’s about helping IT reach its potential as a strategic powerhouse within the organization that can fuel transformation.”
Mini-sessions and keynote presentations will be featured at the symposium.
Atrion said the speaker lineup will be unveiled as the event nears. The invitation-only event is for select Atrion customers and clients.
