Avedesian introduces new equipment at Sargent Center

WARWICK – Sargent Center recently welcomed Mayor Scott Avedesian, who introduced the SMART EquiTest NeuroCom, a piece of equipment that allows evaluation and diagnosis of neurologically based disabilities.

The testing equipment improves the center’s ability to manage concussions among school-aged youth. The test quantifies diagnostic and treatment results with an eye on restoring young athletes to full activities in the classroom and on the playing field at the appropriate pace.

The SMART EquiTest NeuroCom is the first installed in Rhode Island.
