BUSINESS-CONTINUITY CONFERENCE

The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency’s Business Emergency Operation Center will host a business-continuity conference from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road, Lincoln.

Attendees will learn how to improve disaster preparedness efforts, coordinate response efforts and post-disaster economic recovery, plus other related topics. Guest speakers will share their personal experiences and offer advice. The conference is geared toward business owners, chambers of commerce, economic development staff and business emergency disaster-preparedness coordinators.
