How do you encourage employee feedback?
Every two weeks our firm has attorney lunches at which all attorneys provide input on business development, financial matters and administrative issues. For the staff, we elicit input from everyone at regular meetings.
What one employee-centered initiative are you most proud of?
Associate attorneys conceived and implemented a pro bono program that provides legal services for families who file guardianship petitions on behalf of children approaching the age of 18 with severe and profound disabilities.
How do you show employees you value them every day?
Just by actually valuing them. Actions speak louder than words.
What three words would staff use to describe the workplace?
Collaborative. Friendly. Intellectually challenging.
