Batchbook expands Web presence with HootSuite app

PROVIDENCE – Customer-relationship management solutions company Batchbook has teamed up with HootSuite, a social media management system that allows businesses and organizations to execute marketing campaigns on multiple social networks from one secure, web-based dashboard.

The Batchbook application is now available in the HootSuite App Directory along with popular social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Users with the app installed can hover over a contact’s HootSuite avatar and click on “Batchbook profile” to see and edit contact details, recent communications and To-Dos already saved in their Batchbook profile. “Similarly, new contacts can be added into Batchbook directly from the HootSuite dashboard. A nifty addition, users can also save Tweets or Facebook posts into their Batchbook account as communication records,” said a company release.

“Important conversations can happen anywhere, and our new app gives small businesses and professionals the power to capture those exchanges and record them in Batchbook for future reference,” Pamela O’Hara, CEO and cofounder of Batchbook, said in a statement.

“HootSuite’s users send more than 3 million messages through the dashboard each day. Those social posts and conversations, as well as emails, phone calls, notes and meetings are all critical data to save in your small business CRM,” added O’Hara. “Giving business teams a full picture of the communications history will help them better tailor their outreach to customers, partners, suppliers, champions and fans, engagement that builds a business.”
