BayCoast finances seafood plant in Fall River

FALL RIVER – BayCoast Bank this month provided financing to Hutching Holdings II to purchase a building in Fall River.
Hutching Holdings II is an affiliate of Raw Seafood Inc., a Fall River-based seafood distributor and processor. The funds, which were not disclosed, will go toward the purchase of a building to house a seafood processing plant and cold storage.
“The bank was pleased to work with the Fall River Office of Economic Development on this initiative,” according to a press release.
BayCoast Bank, a mutually owned savings bank headquartered in Fall River, serves southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with locations in New Bedford, Dartmouth, Seekonk, Somerset, Swansea, North Dighton, Fairhaven, Westport and Tiverton. The company opened a loan-production office in Providence in 2014.
