Baystate Financial lauded by BBJ

BOSTON – The Boston Business Journal last month named Baystate Financial the fourth-best place to work in Massachusetts for 2016.
The top-tier recognition comes at the heels of Providence Business News also ranking the financial services firm fourth best in Rhode Island in its annual Best Places to Work competition.

Baystate Financial was the only wealth-management firm to make the BBJ’s list this year and the company was lauded for creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture, according to a press releas.e
“At Baystate Financial our team is the very fabric of our firm. This is a place where bright, motivated individuals can make an impact, contributing in meaningful ways to what we are – and who we are – as a firm,” said David C. Porter, managing partner at the company. “We believe that Baystate Financials’ greatest strength is its network of talented people, the passion they have for their work, and the collaborative culture they embrace. All across New England, our associates make us a best place to work. Our focus always is to foster an environment that encourages their best thinking and supports their personal and professional development so that we bring the best to each other and to our clients day in and day out.”
BBJ’s survey was done in conjunction with the market research firm Quantum Workplace of Omaha, Neb.
