PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island Business Exposition – RIBX 2012 – will kick-off with a celebration Wednesday night, May 2, and then a full exhibitor day on Thursday, May 3 at the R.I. Convention Center.
This year’s event has been designed to give event exhibitors and attendees access to a broad and powerful knowledge base, successful business practices and top notch decision makers. The expo will focus on giving local business professionals a wide array of dynamic and practical tools that can immediately be implemented.
Webster Bank Economic Adviser Nicholas Perna will deliver the keynote address, speaking about the major trends and forces that will shape the short and long term economic prospects for Rhode Island. The speech will take place at the Greater Providence chamber’s annual economic outlook luncheon on Thursday, May 3. The event will take place at noon at the R.I, Convention Center (Hall D).

The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition, one of the richest business plan competitions in New England, will award more than $250,000 in prizes at RIBX 2012.
In addition, the booth prices are being held to the 2011 rates to keep the exhibit space affordable.
