BlumShapiro partner appointed to Baker Tilly board

PROVIDENCE – BlumShapiro announced last week its managing partner Carl Johnson has been appointed to a regional advisory board of Baker Tilly International.
BlumShapiro is a regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm and Johnson is joining the North American Regional Advisory Council. Baker Tilly International is a membership group comprising 154 member firms that provides accounting, assurance, tax and specialist business advice to clients in 133 countries.

Johnson, with nearly 30 years of experience serving privately held companies in a wide range of industries with a concentration in construction, will act as a spokesperson for Baker Tilly across the North American region. He will also represent the group at regional and world conferences, according to a BlumShapiro press release.
Johnson will also try to coordinate and development of business between members and recruit new firms from around the region.
