On Thursday author and historian, Paul Caranci will be giving a book talk and signing of his latest publication, “The Hanging and Redemption of John Gordon: The True Story of Rhode Island’s Last Execution.”Almost 170 years following the murder of a wealthy and politically powerful Cranston industrialist, Caranci weighs in on the unresolved case.
