Bridge sponsors e-recycling drive

WARWICK – Information technology staffing firm Bridge Technical Solutions is hosting an electronics recycling drive on Saturday, April 14.

The East Greenwich-based company plans to collected TVs, computers, monitors as well as small electronic items including printers, VCRs, gaming systems and cell phones.

At its last e-cycling drive – held on Sept. 24, 2012 – Bridge collected 3,900 pounds of electronic waste and raised $654 in matched donations for the First Lutheran Church of East Greenwich.

Recyclers are encouraged to donate $1 for small items and $5 or $10 for larger items, though Bridge will cover the fee for those unable to contribute.

The electronics recycling drive – the company’s third – will be held at the Texas Roadhouse in Warwick on April 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
