Bristol County Savings gives $30K to nonprofits

Bristol County Savings Bank recently awarded $30,550 to eight nonprofits in the Pawtucket area through the, Bristol County Savings Charitable Foundation, during a McCoy Stadium ceremony.

“Being a community bank, it is a core principle of ours to support the communities we serve, so we look forward to seeing firsthand the positive impact these nonprofits will continue to make throughout the Greater Pawtucket region,” said Patrick J. Murray, Jr., president of the foundation and president & CEO of the bank.

Grants were awarded to the following organizations: Arts Marketplace Pawtucket/Pawtucket Arts Festival, Pawtucket Backpackers; Camp Ruggles Inc.; Pawtucket Citizens Development Corporation; Pawtucket Soup Kitchen; Rhode Island Community Food Bank; St. Leo’s Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society; and the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre.

The foundation, established in 1996, funds needs that contribute to the economic and social well-being of regional people and institutions. •
