Bryant hosts 5th Supply Chain summit

BRYANT UNIVERSITY will host the fifth annual Supply Chain Management Summit on Thursday, Aug. 23.

SMITHFIELD – Bryant University will host the fifth annual Supply Chain Management Summit on Thursday, Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the university’s Bello Center.

The conference draws businesses from across the Northeast for sessions on issues of global supply chain management.

This year’s conference – “From My Supply Chain to Yours: A Global Perspective” – will include global supply chain experts from some of New England’s largest corporations, including CVS Caremark Corp., Raytheon, FM Global, Arrow Electronics, Vibco Vibrators and Hope Global, among others.

The conference, sponsored by Banneker Industries, includes session topics such as Introduction to ISO Certification, The Dos and Don’ts of Building Relationships with Global Suppliers, and Customers and Establishing International Logistics Operations from Start to Finish.

The lunch keynote – Discussions from the C-Suite – will be moderated by Providence Business News editor Mark S. Murphy and include Cheryl Merchant, president and CEO of Hope Global; Karl Wadensten, president of Vibco Vibrators; David Wilkins, vice president of contracts and supply chain for Raytheon.
