Hasbro Inc., CVS Health Corp. and Tiffany and Co. all made the U.S. RepTrak 100 – a list of the most reputable companies in the country.
Pawtucket-based Habro ranked 51st on the list, slipping from 23rd last year, while CVS placed 92nd, marking the first time on the list for the Woonsocket company.
Hasbro’s overall score was 77, while CVS received a 74.9.
Tiffany, which is based in New York City, but has a facility in Cumberland, ranked the highest among companies with a local connection on the list, placing 18th with a score of 79.2.
The Reputation Institute said it conducts the RepTrak survey annually to measure the reputation of the most highly regarded companies in the country. To come up with its rankings, it collected more than 83,000 interviews with the general public.
Rankings are based on each company’s “pulse” – the emotional connection consumers have to a brand. Results are then broken down into seven reputation dimensions – innovation, leadership, citizenship, governance, performance, products/services and workplace, the Reputation Institute said.
It said “reputation matters more than ever before across all industries” and that consumer, information, retail and tech industries all have increased in reputation,, while lower-ranked industries, such as financial and energy, are on an upward trend.
For the third year in a row, Amazon.com ranks at the top of the RepTrak 100 with a score of 85.4.
