CVS website earns top eHealthcare Leadership honors

WOONSOCKET – The CVS Caremark Corp. website for its pharmacy benefits management members – Caremark.com – earned top honors at the 2012 eHealthcare Leadership Awards.

Caremark.com received a Platinum award for the best overall Internet site and a Gold award for the best interactive site. Winners were selected from nearly 1,100 entries, according to a CVS release.

“As a company we are committed to finding and implementing innovative and effective ways to engage our PBM members to help them make quality health care decisions and were delighted to receive this industry recognition,” Jon Roberts, president of CVS Caremark’s pharmacy benefit management business, said in a statement.

“These awards recognize the impact of our digital presence and reinforce the success of our relaunch of the Caremark.com site last year,” said Roberts. “The refreshed site design, expanded use of member-focused language and variety of interactive features make it even easier for our members to manage their prescriptions on-line, stay adherent to their medications and identify opportunities for increased savings.”
