Caitlyn C. Welsh has been appointed business banking group assistant at Bank Newport. Welsh joined the bank in 2011 and most recently served as administrative assistant in commercial lending. She is responsible for the processing of business loan origination and servicing of business banking customers. Welsh holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Rhode Island. •
