Care New England appoints administrative director of rehab services

PROVIDENCE – Care New England announced that it has appointed Jerry Hotchkiss the administrative director of rehab services for the CNE system, a position he has held on an interim basis for several months.

In this role, Hotchkiss will have direct oversight and administrative responsibilities for the Acute Rehab Unit therapy services for both Kent and Memorial hospitals, which includes both inpatient and outpatient care at the hospitals and at off-site locations in Central Falls and East Greenwich.

“Jerry brings a breadth of clinical and management experience to this role, and will work with the respective hospital medical directors to coordinate processes and services so they meet the high expectations of our patients,” Fran Falsey, CNE’s senior vice president of clinical shared services, said in a statement.

Hotchkiss, a certified occupational therapy assistant, earned a bachelor’s degree from Faulkner University and an MBA from Touro University International. He has many years of management experience as a program director with Kindred Hospital Rehabilitation Services, and served for more than 20 years in the United States Air Force.
