Care Technology recognized by U.S. DOE

LINCOLN – Care Technology LLC, a manufacturer of linear LED lighting and fluorescent retrofits, has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy in its 2013 LED Lighting Facts Special Recognition program.

The Department of Energy selects organization and companies for special recognition every year during its annual Market Introduction Workshop to improve the quality of LED lighting products. In 2013, 18 organizations were recognized for their support of the department’s LED Lighting Facts program and the LED lighting industry as a whole.

Last month, Care Technology took first prize in the inaugural Get Started Rhode Island business plan pitch competition, sponsored by Cox Business, Inc. magazine and Providence Business News.

Care Technology was the only Rhode Island company to receive U.S. Department of Energy recognition. The other companies and organizations honored in the 2013 LED Lighting Facts Special Recognition program were:
