Why did you select your profession? Watching children make progress and seeing the look on their parents’ faces when their child achieved something was the most rewarding a job could ever be for me.

What’s the best career advice you’ve received? Listen to what people have to say and always be fair.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Pace myself and really take everything in and learn from everyone. When you slow down you are able to see so much more and everyone you come in contact with has a lesson you can learn.

What is your favorite Rhode Island restaurant? Twin Oaks in Cranston. Their food tastes like my grandmother made it.

Is your career arc moving fast enough? Why or why not? I am moving at exactly the right pace for me. I have grown at the pace that still allows me the time to be a mom of two. •
