Centreville announces new appointments

WEST WARWICK – Centreville Bank last week announced a series of new appointments, including two new vice presidents, a branch manager and a mortgage loan originator.
Thomas J. Lamb Jr., president and CEO of the West Warwick-based bank, announced the new hires on Thursday. The newest round of hires marks a continued trend of moves made by Lamb, who was elected as president, CEO and chairman of Centreville’s board in May. He replaced Raymond Bolster who retired earlier this year.
The new hires are as follows:

  • Paula M. Fahlman, of North Kingstown, was named vice president of commercial services and government banking. She’s now responsible for government and commercial relationships with a focus on cash management products and services. She comes to the bank from Mansfield Bank in Mansfield, Mass.
  • Richard Denio, a Shrewsbury, Mass., resident, was named vice president of operations and will oversee e-banking and deposit operations. He comes to the bank from Florence Savings Bank in Florence, Mass., and Wainwright Bank in Boston
  • Sarah Gardner, of West Kingstown, was named branch manager at Centerville’s Wickford branch. She will oversee the daily operations of the branch dealing with both retail and business customers. She comes from the bank from Citizens Bank
  • Matthew Brannon, of Cranston, was named mortgage loan originator at the bank. He is tasked with helping to build Centreville’s residential mortgage division. He previously worked as a residential foreclosure officer at Home Loan Investment Bank in Cranston
    Centreville Bank, with $1 billion in assets, is headquartered in West Warwick and has seven branches throughout the state.
