Whether you’re heading home from work, or heading out for the evening, the Providence Athenaeum’s weekly Salon offers an opportunity for guests to start their weekend with some lively conversation. During Friday’s event, guests will have a chance to get to know Christina Paxson, the president of Brown University. Paxson will discuss her decision to come to Brown, her vision for the university – including its relationship with the larger community – and her own experiences and interests, including her early childhood.
