LINCOLN – ChemArt has rebranded its custom ornaments and keepsakes business as Beacon Design.

ChemArt, known for decorative photo chemical etching, announced the change, along with Beacon’s new tagline, “Collaborate, Imagine, Engage,” on Thursday.

Beacon Design partners with nonprofit organizations, government agencies and municipalities, and retailers nationwide to design and manufacture unique ornaments and keepsakes, including the White House Historical Association’s annual White House Christmas ornament and The Jimmy Fund’s annual Boston sports team ornaments.

Founded in 1976 by chemist and entrepreneur Richard Beaupre, Beacon Design produces more than 2 million ornaments a year. It has been making the official White House Christmas Ornament since 1981.

“We see ourselves as a guiding force for our clients, partnering with them to create a unique and innovative way to generate revenue, raise funds, increase donor giving levels, thank supporters, commemorate an event or anniversary and so much more,” Ana Lopes, vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement. “We believe in providing a service that spans beyond the exquisite pieces we produce, and we want our name to reflect that larger purpose.”

ChemArt’s ChemTec division will continue to design and manufacture precision etched parts and components used in the photo chemical machining process.

In addition to the rebrand, the company launched a new website, www.beacondesign.com, as well as a new blog for clients and customers to stay on top of fundraising, design trends and new products.

Beacon Design will debut at the The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Jan. 10-17, where it will present its 2017 retail line, including additions to its Americana line, and preview the 2017 White House ornament.
