The six-member, all-female Celtic group, Cherish the Ladies, will perform Sunday at The Greenwich Odeum. For nearly 25 years, the group, which takes its name from an old Irish jig, has been performing worldwide with a blend of instrumentals, vocals and step dancing. They’ve shared the stage with performers such as James Taylor, Joan Baez and Emmylou Harris and were recognized as the BBC’s best musical group in 2004. Cherish the Ladies was also named the top North American Celtic Group during the 2001 Irish Music Awards.
