Christina Hull Paxson has been elected president of Brown University, effective July 1, 2012. Paxson comes to Brown University from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, where she currently serves as dean. After graduating from Swarthmore College, she went on to earn both a master’s and Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University. •
