Coastway opening ‘prototype’ branch

CRANSTON – Coastway Community Bank announced the opening of its prototype retail branch on Comstock Parkway in Cranston on Jan. 28, according to a press release from the bank.

The brick, stone and glass building with an atrium-like lobby highlights a new contemporary brand identity for Coastway. The prototype branch was designed by Providence-based Vision 3 Architects.

Construction manager for the project was Cranston-based E. Turgeon Construction Corp.

Coastway Community Bank is a $350 million financial institution with nine branches in Rhode Island.
