PROVIDENCE – Brown University ranked No. 12 on College Choice’s 2016 list of the 50 Best Master’s in Computer Science degree programs.

“Having a graduate degree in computer science will certainly give individuals the chance for better career opportunities. It is also not too drastic to say studying in the field of computer science may give individuals the opportunity to change the future of our world: possibly solving global problems or inventing new ways of interacting with one another and impacting international systems and processes,” Christian Amondson, managing editor of College Choice, said of the ranking in a statement.

Yale University ranked No. 1; its total tuition is $38,700. Harvard University ranked No. 2, with a tuition of $43,280; and the California Institute of Technology was No. 3 with a tuition of $45,264.
