Cooley Group earns environmental certification

PAWTUCKET – Cooley Group, a developer and manufacturer of high-tech membranes, has earned an internationally recognized environmental standard certification, the company announced.
The ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Standard Certification from TUV SUD America is recognized as a leading worldwide standard for environmental management systems, according to a release.
“Cooley continues to take a leadership role in initiating policies and practices that ensure the Company conducts business as a global, corporate environmental citizen by complying with internationally recognized and accepted sustainability practices,” said David Pettey, Cooley Group Chief Operating Officer, in a statement.
In its release, the company highlighted its Global stewardship, Reduce and Reuse resources, Environmental compliance, Eliminate waste, and No pollution, or G.R.E.E.N., initiative, aimed at both developing sustainable products and maintaining environmentally friendly operating practices.
