EAST GREENWICH – The Corvias Group has opened a new headquarters in Cary, N.C., for its student housing division Corvias Campus Living, the company announced Tuesday.

The company launched Corvias Campus Living in July to “develop truly innovative housing solutions that allow colleges and universities to substantially improve the living environments for their students,” said a statement.

“We are very excited to have North Carolina as a home base for our student housing division,” Kurt Ehlers, managing director of Corvias Campus Living, said in a statement. “It is a beautiful space designed to accommodate our collaborative work environment, and the office’s location will allow us to effectively meet the student housing needs of our higher education partners up and down the Eastern seaboard.”

From its new North Carolina office, Corvias Campus Living will provide colleges and universities with opportunities for better student housing by offering a “long-term, comprehensive partnership” for finance, construction, management and maintenance of on-campus housing, said the company.

A Corvias spokesperson said that the company did not expect to see any loss of Rhode Island employment due to transfers from East Greenwich to the new Cary facility.
