Customers Bank debuts new app

Posted 11/5/13

WYOMISSING, Pa. – Customers Bank has introduced an enhanced mobile app, called CB Access, which includes a Picture Pay mobile bill payment option, the bank announced Oct. 29.

“With the adoption of Picture Pay, Customers Bank become one of only a handful of banks in the nation, let alone in the Philadelphia region, to make mobile bill payment available to its banking customers,” Customers Bank President of Community Banking Warren Taylor said.

“With this exciting new feature, paying bills is almost effortless. All the customer has to do is take a picture of the invoice, select the account from which to draw funds, enter the amount and hit submit. That’s as easy as it gets,” said Taylor.

Other features of the Customers Bank CB Access app include remote check deposit, transfer money, quick access and account information via text messaging.

Customers Bank moved into the Rhode Island market in March 2013 with the acquisition of the regional business of Flagstar Bank. Customers Bank has a regional headquarters in Providence and a second regional office in Boston.
